Our terms, without small print
Reading Chicken Road means agreeing to the short, friendly terms below. They exist to keep a fan project clear and pleasant — not to catch anyone out.
1. What this magazine is
Chicken Road is an unofficial, fan-run editorial magazine about the Chicken Road arcade game. It is fully independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the game's developer. Everything here is fan commentary and entertainment writing.
2. The game is entertainment, plainly
Chicken Road is covered on this site strictly as an arcade game of timing, reaction and nerve, played for the fun of it. The guides exist to protect that enjoyment. Nothing on the Chronicle should be read as encouraging anything other than entertainment — that is the game's whole purpose, and ours.
3. Accuracy and the info panel
We take care to describe the game faithfully, but game versions evolve and so do their parameters. Where the game's own info panel and our notes disagree, the panel wins. Corrections are welcomed warmly through the contact page — they're how the magazine stays worth reading.
4. Offered as is
The magazine is provided "as is". We promise effort and honesty, not permanence: articles may fall behind game updates, and the interactive demo on our homepage is an original illustration clearly labelled as such — not a copy of any actual game build.
5. How you may use the site
Read, quote and share freely for personal, non-commercial purposes, with a link back when quoting at length. Please don't republish our work as your own, or present this fan magazine as an official source — it isn't, and we'd both find that awkward.
6. Names and marks
Game names and any related marks mentioned here belong to their respective owners and appear in a plainly editorial, fan-commentary context. The Chronicle claims no rights over the game — only over its own puns.
7. Responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, Chicken Road isn't liable for decisions made on the basis of an independent fan magazine. Our advice is friendly opinion from enthusiasts, not professional instruction of any kind.
8. Updates
These terms may evolve with the project. The current version always lives on this page, written — like everything here — in the same plain language as the rest of the magazine.
